Thank you for providing so many useful and impressive graphics. I have used many of them in the Jesus Vs. Darwin feature I include each week in our church bulletin, which I print. There is a problem with using the recent findings (as reported in the ABCNEWS.net article) that chimpanzees have twice the genetic diversity as humans, and that humans came close to genetic extinction at some time in the past.

Some creationists are taking this as evidence for the Genesis Flood. It is; but there is a further problem that needs to be dealt with. There were eight human beings on the Ark, but only two Chimpanzees. So we should see even less genetic diversity among Chimpanzees. Some semi-creationists who claim that the Genesis Flood was not universal are using this evidence to support their position. But it seems to me that if the Flood were not universal, God would have just told Noah to move, not build a big boat. And there would have been no need to preserve the animals on the Ark. I w

I really am curious as to how people can make assumptions so unscientifically based, Christians and non-Christians...There is no proof that a supreme being like the Christian God exists. If any religion could give proof of the existence of their God or Gods, they would have already.......none have.

There is not one shred of real tangible evidence that any religion is based on anything other that hearsay. Your site is thoughtful, but lacking substance of any real evidence to support the claims made. I too was once fooled by the fanatics afraid of death (this is now how I refer to the religions of the world).

Death was unexplainable to our ancestors, so in order to give life meaning, they created spirituality so death wouldn�t be so final. No one wants to end. I can�t say that your God does not exist, but you cannot say that he does�..you can believe that he does, but to say it, you need proof and proof is what you do not have. I was here to look for documneted evidence of Noah's flood. I am currently enrolled in a Historical Geology class. I overhead the prof talking with another student about how christians were crazy for believing in a worldwide flood with out evidence. I believe it, the bible says it is true-so it is.

However others not so easily convinced. I am not looking to debate a science prof., I merely want to support my belief with evidence if it is required. I'd sincerely suggest doing a search for Bernard Northrup's home page. He's done some pretty convincing research over the last 70 years or so and it's well documented and well written. Very interesting stuff especially if you consider some of the evidence that indicates that the speed of light may indeed have changed over the years. BTW, Phillip Johnson has a brand new book out.

Plus, I have heard from several others about that Scripture in Acts about Peter giving the people only one approach towards salvation - and that was to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the one they killed. But if you notice, never again is that command used again.

The only other time we were commanded to be Baptized was in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (by Jesus himself). I believe Peter was led by the Holy Spirit in convicting those who did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God by commanding them to be baptized in the name of the one they killed, because if they did that, they died to themselves and had to REALLY repent. If they could get through all that, then they would make it. But any other was
